These two lines are what define me, A confused fellow who loves to be a pirate (preferably the digital kind).
An idiotic 17 year old on the verge of insanity, i like linux, compiling stuff, retro aesthetics and music
I am also an enthusiast in the realm of lost media, so if you're looking for any of that (especially if it happens to be Persian) i could certainly help.
Interests:
Music
Tally Hall et all
The first band i really got into, love almost all of their songs, including ones done by members outside of the Tally realm, Miracle Musical being a prime example
Pink Floyd
The band that's done it all, from LSD to saxophone solos you could only dream of, i'm not one to ask someone to check an entire band's discogrophy but i'll make an exception here
King Crimson
Marvelous pioneers of prog rock, The Court of the Crimson King and Red are easily the best albums i'v listened to
Franz Ferdinand
Great post-punk band, they're a lot more easier to listen to than King Crimson or Pink Floyd
Tame Impala
Psycehdelic music project by Kevin Parker, a bit more pop oriented but the spacey sound outwieghs it for me
Movies and TV
The IT Crowd
Immensley funny for a british show, big recommend if you love nerdy comedy that isn't a cringefest
Peep Show
Also funny but in the complete opposite way that The IT Crowd is
Close-up
Meta docufiction with some of the best cinematogrophy i've ever witnessed
Universal Language
A canadian nod to modern Iranian cinema, and a wonderful one at that
Books
Gaming the Iron Curtain by Jaroslav Švelch
A surprisingly detailed book on the history of video games in communist czechoslovakia, pick it up if you'd like to see how even isolated regions managed to grow cultures they weren't supposed to
Return Ticket by Nasim Vahabi
An impactful story about a man from an Iranian family attempting to find his place in the world around him
